On September 24th, GlobeAir and Textron co-hosted a successful event rich with networking encounters and a great time for all participants. It was encouraging to see business aviation's stakeholders gathering together right before the last day of the Monaco Yacht Show 2021 (MYS). With a selection of yachting and luxury companies showcasing, including superyacht builders, designers, brokers, and providers of luxury brands, the event seemed a great moment to celebrate the success of GlobeAir's summer operations together with VIPs personalities and long-term trustworthy partners.
"Summer 2021 has been a great success for business aviation. My GlobeAir DreamTeam had some incredible flight performances, and the great summer spike has not ended with the beginning of autumn. Compared to the past year, GlobeAir had a +33% rise in flights and a +52% new customers. Demand for autumnal flights is rising both for leisure and business travels. It is encouraging to foresee a busy October for our operations and we can see already a +23% YoY increase in bookings," says GlobeAir CEO Bernhard Fragner.
2020 meant a turning point for aviation. We have come to terms with the simple truth that just those companies who could provide the safest travel experience could make it out of the crisis.
And GlobeAir is one of those. With an average of 700 touch points on a commercial airline journey against only 20 when flying private and ensuring a 30-time reduction thereof, no wonder business aviation (BizAv) is booming thanks to the trust of its discerning passengers looking for efficient and safe travel solutions. GlobeAir's MYS 2021 closing event wants to celebrate this industry and its resilient character. The example of a triumphant marketing action capable of sending out a clear message in times of uncertainty." says Vice President of Sales for Textron Europe Tom Perry.
